Bre here: I was happy to see my aunt and my cousin when they came to pick me up to start our journey to our new home in WA. We pack up my stuff ( fairly quickly) and it the road.
Our first stop was st Augustine. The town was really fun. We parked the car and started walking in the heat around the town. Everything was closed when we got there but the fort so we went here first but tulla( our dog ) could not go in so kate (aunt ) stayed outside while me and maddie went in.
The fort was very informative and really hot. We saw where they slept ,ate, did battle strategies and where they kept the prisoners. We when to the top where we saw cannons and the river that had beautiful clear water .
We then went to the pirate museum, it was amazing. I saw the original jolly roger pirate flag. We where not allowed to take pictures but i did of the flag because it was so cool. I almost lost my breath when i saw it.
We then meet a really nice lady in a shop that knew a lot about the time . After talking to her for awhile we went to a old school house that was pretty cool but a creepy doll that told the story of the school that kept looking at me.
We passed a mid evil torture museum that i really wanted to go in but did not have a time to 😣 but, we saw the wax museum and took pics.
It was a fun town. I wish i could have stayed long but we needed to go but, i will go again. After a few hours there we where of to new Orleans for a fun and interesting day.
